2016 Seminar

Seminars

Joining Wigan PS drew me into the concept of competition photography.  I subsequently joined Chorley Photographic Society in 2012 and helped Chorley PS to come 2nd in the FIAP World cup in 2014 and reach the finals of both the PAGB inter-club championships in recent years.  Other major achievements include, winning FIAP Blue Badges as the Best Photographer at the Northern Counties International in 2011 and 2012, and Welsh International in 2013 and 2014. I also achieved my FBPE in 2014 which equates to 500 accepted in British Exhibitions with over 50 awards.

 ‘People, Portraits and Pachyderms’

My style of photography is still developing in strange directions, with many of my most successful images being composites, with some of the elements being hand drawn.

Not everybody’s cup of tea, but I love creating stories using photographs, to satisfy my own needs and imagination.

ADRIAN LINES MPAGB FBPE EFIAP ARPS

I am relatively new to photography only starting at the end of 2009, after following my husband Adrian around while he took photos, I thought I might as well join him!…. I am a member of Chorley PS.  In the last five years photography has given me tremendous fun and personal satisfaction.  In this short time I have also gained my LRPS, CPAGB, DPAGB and MPAGB and BPE 5* and I am a judge and Lecturer for our local Lancashire and Cheshire federation.

‘Going Solo’

My talk is about my MPAGB journey and some travel images from the Camargue.

JANE LINES LRPS CPAGB DPAGB MPAGB BPE5

I am a member of Duston Camera Club and I’ve been into club photography for over 30 years. I believe photography should be fun! I obtained my LRPS in 1988, ARPS in 1994, these were in black and white prints produced in the darkroom. In 2006 I moved to digital, and obtained a second ARPS in 2010 with digital prints.

I started entering national and international photographic exhibitions in 2009, and to date have achieved over 700 acceptances and over 100 awards, resulting in the EFIAP and BPE5. The vast majority of my work I like to think of as ‘creative’ .

‘My Way of Looking at It!’

My talk will cover some of the pictures I have produced  and will explain some of the techniques I use to create them since I started entering national and international exhibitions and gained my EFIAP, DPAGB, BPE5 and second ARPS distinctions.
